Lonely cow protestors

Ok so twice in a row I've seen this and I thought it was fluke.

We're at war right?

We see protestors, right?

They go together.

So around here they like to stand on foot bridges. Hold signs and I bet they even sing songs but I'm jamming too loud to my iPod in my New Beetle (yes I'm a product of a marketing based service economy, but at least I realize it) and they have the "War in Iraq : NO" signs which by the way I think need updating. Its um... already a done deal. Or I love the ones who think "Support Our Troops" is opposite of "War in Iraq:NO" or is it iRaq? I dunno.

Anyways I see a guy with a sign, actually two signs, but I'll get to that. I expect one of the two most popular protests right. War bad or support our troops. (What if you think war is bad and you think the troops deserve support and you're a protestor, do you split your time and not tell each group what you're doing, kinda a double agent protestor)

He's protesting a Dairy.

Excuse me?

Boycott Darigold. No reason on the sign. Just boycott them. Why? I don't know just boycott Darigold.

He was all by himself. One guy two signs.

What happened to his friend?

Phone call later that day:

"ya so where the fuck were you, you utter sucking muterfucker"

"oh Jim, hi... ya the darigold thing.. so ya something came up, but I'm sure I wasn't missed right lots of anti Darigold dudes, right? Holding signs and singing songs"

"You fuck. I made you a sign. and NO NOBODY ELSE SHOWED EITHER"

"dude, sorry man, that must have sucked standing up there on the 70th street bridge protesting all that horrible milk product stuff"

"Yes it was you fuck. I'm never speaking to you again you mother less son of bitch; Because of you Darigold is continuing to sell tasty dairy products in stores everywhere, you fucking bastard"

"So dude, I hear you, you're angry, but you know I had to work."

"And whats more those fucking support the troops bastards and the fucking asshole no war group"

"ya I do hate those fucks"

"ya well they teamed up and started throwing cheese at me..."

"No way"

"ya I had to fucking leave my place because I was getting pelted with cottage cheese (it was on sale at Albertson's aparently)"

"oh man I'm sorry I'll make it up to you."

"Good cause on Thursday we're going to protest KettleCorn and you better fucking be there EARLY and you make the fucking signs this time!"

"ok ok"... click

I love my iPod

I hope this is an exageration:

ipodMooV

Time will tell, i've had mine for about 5 months now.

link

I wrote about the trip to my brother-in-law's funeral.

this is a write up a newspaper writer did of my sister.

Seems like a pretty fair accounting of the situation.

Article.

I don't cry very often in my office. But reading that certainly did it.
