You can't come in.

It's an all 80's sound track iPod day. What's your top 3 compilation CD's that reflects back on a specific time? I'm not talking sound tracks that were popular in the day. If you think about it the retrospective ones are easier because stuff that we look back on and go, "Seriously? I liked that? Me? Are you sure?" Of course secretly that's exactly the shit we're buying on iTunes late at night when nobody can see us.

Wedding Singer
Grosse Pointe Blank
More Grosse Pointe Blank

(I would put in High Fidelity, but it doesn't count, I don't think, because it spans too many era's. Also Jack Black's cut on it was a cover thus disqualifying it for clearly the best track on the disc.)

I can't talk top 3 off the top of my head (as I'm at work and hence my mind is completely numb) but I will say that the soundtrack to "Big Daddy" has some choice flashback tunes on it. :)

oh and the soundtrack to "Walk on the Moon" (is that the name? the movie with Diane Lane, Liev Schreiber and Viggo Mortenson?) is very very "of its time" (the time of the movie).
