Ripped but not torn

So it's been a few weeks since I jumped to a paper planner using the GTD method. I'm not claiming to be a setting any trend here. I'm not. Merlin Mann went for the "Hipster PDA" quite a while ago. Lifehacker just yesterday wrote to really reboot GTD, just get a paper notebook and go for it. Be out in the wild with it.

This is essentially what I've done, but there is no need not to go in style. I've set up a pretty sweet junior size (it's about 1/2 a regular sheet of paper) Circa agenda and GTD tabs behind that.

So far so good. The only issue I'm having is I've never used a week-at-a-glance style. I'm used to having a whole page for a day. I'm dealing with this by just jamming a fresh sheet in between the week pages and dating it and writing notes on it. There isn't much room on each day for tasks but that is the nature of GTD. Very little is on a given day, but that very little has to get done.

Anyway with green leather, a nice roller ball and a Namiki vanishing point fountain pen, I may be ripped on paper, but I'm not roughing it.
