My Hypothetical Religious Creations

If I were to create a religion I'm 100% sure it would involve tater tots. Maybe the communion portion of the show would start with the deep fat fryer.

That's it. I figure I could come up with a whole system of ritual and dogma around fried foods but so far all I have is the tater tot. I'll keep you posted.

You know what this song needs?

We went to Max and Sam's band concert tonight and they both did really well. Now I know what pieces Max was practicing with the oboe because he doesn't like play the whole thing, obviously. So now putting it all together I was all, "Oh that was mission impossible."

The jazz band played after and all I kept thinking was about the one percussion kid who was beating on the various pieces time and time again and switching not only every song but a few times during each song. I just kept urging him psychically to pick up the god damn cow bell again.

OK OK OK... We watched a double feature of Lethal Weapon and Lethal Weapon 2 on Saturday. Classic. Great quotes, a lesson in money laundering and people with odd accents getting killed everywhere.

These were in a set of DVD's we got at Silver Platters in Bellevue. They stress the fact that they are the director's cut. Jen was able to tell the difference in the first movie, but not so much the second. The added scene at the begining in the extended cut was really worth it. Besides you can get all 4 moview for like 9.99...

Latest spam....

OK yeah I understand the spam idea and most of it does not offend me. I'm comfortable with my size and performance, but thanks anyways. No I don't want to meet any singles in my area who are up for any of those things that are described cryptically in the subject lines with lots of punctuation to try and fool my spam filter. I'm just fine. Still not offended.

But I say to the AARP: Fuck you. Seriously I'm not that old and no I don't owe you for the legislation you've lobbied for and no I won't join you and no I don't need a travel kit.

Irony (OK not really)

I've finally found it. The thing that gets you clean every day. (Every other if the children had their way.) Designed from the ground up to wash humans from head to toe. This very thing gets to be the most disgusting thing in the house. I'd venture a bet that the toilets don't get that gross.

That being said I just cleaned it! Ha! (Of course Jen cleaned like the whole rest of the house this week so really I did just a smidge of cleaning to her bajillion bacteria vanquished.)

What I learned over the weekend

Do not count on the weather this time of year to let you go over the pass without snow when you want to.

Do not underestimate the power of the wood fired pizza in Bellingham or the hand dryers in the bathrooms at the wood fired pizza place. I think I have a bruise from airflow.

Do not try to go to the Heritage Flight Museum unless it's the 3rd Saturday of the month. The 2nd saturday won't do. In fact you won't even be able to find the fucking thing.

Do not trust drink carriers from Dairy Queen when you have your peanut buster parfait in it. Do trust the lid though when the fucking thing hits your car floor. OK really don't do that either.
